SOPHOS ™ Antivirus plugin:

Manual update Sophos antivirus databases in Kerio Control Software Appliance Linux:

1. Unpack the program receiving anti-virus database SophosMirror from the archive and run SophosMirror.exe

2. Click Start to get the latest database. Databases are copied to the same directory where the program run

3. Turn on the ssh protocol Kerio and allow recording section ext3 (see how to perform. Below):

Next Putty to connect through the Kerio Control:

login: root
password: the one who was appointed at the first entrance to the Kerio Control

Next, perform the command:

start-ssh
mount -o remount rw /

= Connect to Kerio through WinSCP =

4. Remove the checkbox "Use the integrated anti-virus program" - click "Apply"

5. Open the directory /var/winroute/sophos/initial/vdb and copy with replacement of all the files in the folder VDBS\files

6. Open the directory /var/winroute/sophos/initial/ide and copy with replacement of all the files in the folder IDES

7. Open the directory /var/winroute/sophos/initial and replace the file from the folder libsavi.so APIS\files

8. Reinstall the checkbox "Use the integrated anti-virus program" - click "Apply"

= Run update antivirus databases and version =

Accordingly, the contents of the folder:

/var/winroute/sophos/initial/vdb and /var/winroute/sophos/initial/ide - database of viruses Sophos;
/var/winroute/sophos/initial/libsavi.so - the very core of the scanning software
