HOW TO USE THIS DOCUMENT

To view Readme.txt on screen in Notepad, maximize the Notepad window.
To print Readme.txt, open it in Notepad or another word processor,
then use the Print command on the File menu.

1) Installing Biotrax Software
=======================
To Start the Biotrax Setup Wizard click the
Biotrax_v..... .exe file in the install file folder. It's recommended
to install the Biotrax software in : "C:\Program Files\Rosslare\Biotrax

2) Operating Biotrax Software And Default Passwords
=========================
To start the AS-225 Program in Admin mode:
1. On the "Start menu", click "Programs" then click "Rosslare\Biotrax".
2. At the first operation select  the  user name "administrator" and  enter
   password: "admin" .

To start the Biotrax Program in Guard mode:
1. On the "Start menu", click "Programs" then click "Rosslare\Biotrax".
2. Select  the  user name"security" and enter password: "secur" .

To start the AS-225  Program in Engin mode:
1. On the "Start menu", click "Programs" then click "Rosslare\Biotrax".
2. Select  the user name "engineer" and enter password: "engin" .

This tool has been tested under the following PC operating systems:
Windows XP SP2.
Windows Vista Enterprise 2006
Support operation system:
Windows Server 2003 SP1
Windows XP Professional SP2
Windows XP Home Edition SP2

4) PC Hardware Minimum Requirements
=========================
The following minimum configuration is required to run Biotrax:
* PC-compatible PentiumŪ4-class system
* Supported Windows operating system (see section 3)
* 256 MB memory (512 MB recommended)
* 600 MB of hard disk space

5) Multiple Installations Biotrax
=========================
Multiple installations of Biotrax on one PC is not recommended.

6) Known Problems
=========================
When using MD-N32 TCP/IP to Serial gateway to connect between Biotrax and Biometric Reader hardaware , it may be required to power-on reset the MD-N32 unit after it is configured from Biotrax.
